Zedekiah Rules in Judah

2 Chronicles 36:11-14

  • Zedekiah was twenty-one when he became king and he reigned for eleven years. (v. 11)
  • Zedekiah did evil in the eyes of the Lord. (v. 11)
  • In addition to Zedekiah's unfaithfullness, more and more of the people were being unfaithful, too. (v. 14)

The Fall of Jersualem

2 Chronicles 36:15-19

  • God sent prophets to warn the people of the impending doom. (v. 15)
  • The people didn't listen. (v. 16)
  • God used the king of Babylon to punish Judah. (v. 17)
  • Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Judah and the temple. (v. 18-19)
